Hands-On Floral Design Classes in Our San Diego Studio - Come Make Something With Us
A few times a year, we open the studio for hands-on floral design workshops (small, seasonal, and built around a holiday or a moment worth celebrating). You walk in with curiosity, you walk out with an arrangement you made yourself and a little more flower fluency than you came in with.
How a workshop works
You'll show up at the studio. We'll have everything pre-cut and ready: fresh stems, vessels, tools, and aprons if you want one. Derith, with our design team, walks the group through the design philosophy for the day's project—color theory, vessel choice, texture, why some flowers play well together and some don't.
Then you build your own arrangement. We'll be there to help answer questions. By the end of the class, you've got an arrangement to take home and a better eye, understanding, and connection for what makes a design work.

Hosting a private workshop?
Planning a birthday party, bachelorette party, bridal shower, team-building event, or other event? We host private workshops for groups of 6 or more. Tell us your date range, group size, and what you're celebrating, and we'll plan it with you.
Who joins us around the flower table
Workshops are for the person who wants to feel like a florist for a couple of hours, whatever their experience level. Whether you've been arranging flowers from your garden for years or you've never held a stem in your life, the class moves at your pace and our designers are there to keep you on track.
If you've ever picked up a bouquet from the grocery store and thought “I could probably do this myself”, this is where you find out.
The Investment
Workshop pricing depends on the class, but most of our hands-on classes run $75 -$125 per person. The price includes all flowers, vessels, tools, and instruction… everything you need to walk out with a finished arrangement.
Group workshops and custom classes are quoted individually based on group size and design.

None. Workshops are designed for total beginners, and they're also a fun way to sharpen up if you've been arranging on your own for years.

Most workshops run between 90 minutes and two hours, depending on the design.

Yes, of course. Workshops are more fun in pairs. Just make sure to book your spots together so we have enough materials and space for both of you.
